Due to the questionable procedure in the case of Wikileaks and Julian Assange, a demonstration was organised on December 22, 2010 by a private initiative in Vienna. Under the motto "alert phase red", about 250 people protested at Schwarzenbergplatz, supporting the freedom of opinion and Wikileaks and speaking out against the prejudgement of Julian Assange.
