The Austrian Pirate Party has called for a demonstration against the repeated limitation of data protection on the day of the Feast of Corpus Christi. The reason: the parliament was planning to introduce new the regulations on Telecommunications data retention just before it's annual summer break. Protesters were marching from the main university building to the Ministry of Transport, who is responsible for the matter. Among the demonstrators, there were some representatives of Quintessenz, a group of privacy activists which has been calling the public attention to the irresistible disclosure of the individual for many years.
