Radio Orange 94.0 is the only independent, non-commercial community radio station in Vienna, founded in 1998. A small group of committed people around co-founding mother Eva has been hosting the weekly show Radio Widerhall (a play on the German words for repercussion and resistance) for five tireless years, reporting on political issues from a somewhat different perspective. Every Saturday from 8 to 9 p.m. (CET) you can hear what lively radio can sound like, wordwide via webstream from the Radio Orange internet site. Giving a voice to the voiceless is a particular concern of Radio Widerhall.
