Naples, June 2010 - Workers of the Fiat plant in Pomigliano demonstrate against projected massive declines in their working conditions. In order to make them accept majior deteriorations, management had threatened to close the site and relocate production. Some of the projected measures infrige the Italian constitution (restrictions on the right to strike) and labour laws.
In a ballot, 36% of employees voted against the package of measures, 4% abstained.
