A tumbledown mansion is lost in reverie at the end of the tramway line J in Ottakring, Vienna. Who would believe that this is a listed building formerly known as 'Landvilla (countryside villa) Jenamy'? It's eccentric former owner has been struggeling for the villa's protection for many years, but the property has only been kissed awake after his death.
The new owner, the house building association Neue Heimat, has opened up the premisses for artists before the beginning of the estate's refurbishment. Members of the artist collective kunst-zuhaus and associated with the group pogmahon have used the villa for a presentation of their work, ranging from the house to art and to the house's planned reuse under the motto 'living for generations'.
