4th of february 2007, thousands of domestic helpers came out to demonstrate against the POEA guidelines, a new Philippine government regulation concerning overseas work. Once again the Philippine state wants to profit from the migration of OFW - those Philippine workers living abroad. Once again the migrants have to pay for this with their own money.
