A long conflict about the autonomy of the Basque country has been going on in the North of the Iberian peninsula. In this report several people involved in this conflict have their say. Like Martxelo Otamendi, chief editor of Basque newspaper "Egunkaria". In 2003 the paper got prohibited, accused of having supported the ETA, and several editors were arrested. Otamendi himself was one of the arrested and tells the happenings from his perspective. Especially the 5 days of arrest when he was tortured.
