Austrian voters have made their choice and reelected the ruling conservative Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) under Wolfgang Schüssel. Those who did not but have been hoping for a change were shocked. Remebering the mass demonstrations of 2000, a policy of misinformation was supposed to avoid spontaneous demonstrations during the chancellors' and the ministers' formal oaths. Despite it, hundreds gathered at the crowd barrier around the chancellery upon short notice. Especially featuring: about 50 members of the Concervative's Party youth organization, handing banners and balloons in their hands and cheering at their silent idol Wolfgang Schüssel.
