A seminar dealing with campus radio stations on a theoretical level which was held one and a half years ago later became the starting point of an student-run community radio station that started broadcasting via internet livestream some six weeks ago. A group of students, in cooperation with the University of Klagenfurt, has put great efforts in establishing their campus radio Apollo FM. However, the prospective radio journalists do not want to limit their reports to campus life. They also plan to cover the regional hot buttons, the ones that other Carinthian media neglect, beeing many times too submissive to the local authorities. At the moment, Apollo FM is broadcasting via webstream from a little studio with an impressive sanitary enlargement of technical equipment (you'll see...) based in the dorms on campus. A terrestrial VHF frequency shall follow within the next months...
